 da. So October is still pool party weather! AND we are just around the
  corner from the 2011 Florida Corgi Picnic which raises money for Corg

 :30 for a pool party at the Happy Paws Pet Resort. This pool party is 
 EXTRA SPECIAL because we are going to raise money for the Florida Corg
 i Picnic benefiting CorgiAid! Here's the lowdown - if you wish to atte
 nd, please pay $5 (suggested donation) per dog and 100% of the money r
 aised all goes back to the picnic to raise money for CorgiAid - a nonp
 rofit org that provides financial assistance to corgis and corgi mixes
 . So let's do our very best to raise a lot of money for this outstandi
 ng organization and have a great time while doing it!For those of you 
 who attended the last pool party, please call Happy Paws to verify the
 y have your paperwork and they will add you to the guest list. You DO 
 NOT need to rsvp to me. Happy Paws will add you to a guest list once t
 hey receive your paperwork. Please note, Happy Paws will be admitting 
 only those people that are on the guest list. Unlike the past where th
 ey just let people in, this time they will be checking off names. For 
 those of you who have not attended previously, here's what you'll need
  to know:In order to attend, your dog(s) will need to be up to date on
  all shots. All vaccination/shot records must be faxed or hand deliver
 ed 1 week prior to the event. Vaccinations must include negative fecal
 , proof of rabies, bordetella (every 6 months), and DHLP. Their fax # 
 is 407-282-5654. You may also request your vet to fax the records dire
 ctly to the Happy Paws Pet Resort. Or if you like, you can email or gi
 ve me a copy and I will fax it to them. When you send in the paperwork
 , please indicate that you are attending the corgi pool party. Those w
 ho fail to provide Happy Paws with current proof of vaccinations will 
 be denied entry. This is the Happy Paws requirement and it is to ensur
 e the safety and health of all of the dogs.Primarily there will be cor
 gis attending but this party is open to all breeds.The resort includes
  a \"bone shaped\" salt water based swimming pool. The shallow end is 
 only 6\" deep and the deep end is only 48\" for all of our short-legge
 d companions. You are allowed in the pool with your dog so dress accor
 dingly. We will also have some yummies for the doggies and light snack
 s & beverages for the humans. Happy Paws will have a tent for shade an
 d 1 table and a hose to wash off. If you would like to sit, I encourag
 e you to bring your own chairs. Also, you should bring a towel for you
 rself (in case you decide to dip your feet in) and for your pup.If you
