A picture of a cute female corgi was posted by Friends of Wareham Animals on Facebook today. She was found on Swift's Beach and looks very well-cared for and loved. Hoping she has only been missing for a few hours. I couldn't see much more than her face so she cold be a cardigan, but I she looks like a Pem to me. Also looks small/young, but that may just be how she appears in the pics.

Hi Everyone,

Since my husband and I are looking for another Corgi for our family I often browse Craig'sList looking for pups. It looks like someone has found a female Pembroke in North Carolina, if you or anyone you know has lost a female Pem please check out this link!

A very cute, intact male PW corgi showed up as "Found" by the animal control in Brockton MA this weekend. Brockton is a fairly large city I southeast MA I shared the posting on Facebook on the Coastal Corgi page but I am leaving it here as well since there is a chance the owner of a corgi may show up here. Brockton is a fairly large city I southeast MA I shared the posting on Facebook on the Coastal Corgi page but I am leaving it here as well since there is a chance the owner of a corgi may show up here. Unless he is from someplace far away, I can't imagine why his owners haven't already tried the animal control unless his point of origin is fairly far. There have already been many people asking for an application to adopt him. He had a blue clip collar, but no micro-chip, and apparently lost (or never had?) any tags. He looks like he is in excellent condition and the shelter called him a "sweetie." Sorry I couldn't post his picture. He can be viewed at the Coastal Corgi and Brockton Animal Control FB pages though. I really hope he finds his owner!
Update 9/11/14: CAMI HAS BEEN FOUND - She was found in the area where she went missing - near the Starbucks. Fortunately she had the wisdom to hunker down and wait for mom and dad to find her. Thank God and all those that prayed she would be found. It is a happy day for Cami and Celeste Militzer our friend with Celestial Star Corgis! Cheers!

Update 8/29/14: still not found; keep this little girl in your prayers.

Does anyone know of someone who may have lost a red and white female corgi in the Houston area? I don't know what Harris County Animal Control's euthanasia policy is; keeping my fingers crossed that it is no-kill, but I kind of doubt that it is. :-( I think there may be a corgi rescue group in East Texas. I'll contact them to make sure they know about this girl in case the owner doesn't show up.

I just got a call from a lady in Sacramento. She found a female corgi hiding between her house and a neighbors. She has no microchip or collar. It looks like she recently had puppies. She is possibly two years old, red with a white collar. If you know who she belongs to contact me at, rescue@goldengatecorgis.org

Most recent update:

They picked up Oliver's scent at the wreck site and followed it for about 6 miles along the highway (presumably south, toward Tombstone - I'll confirm with Miriam), at which point he scooted off the highway into some brush and the scent stopped cold. Miriam reported there were lots of bones in the area, but that they all seemed too old, and too big, to be Oliver. The tracker was concerned that a predator might have gotten him, but Miriam is also wondering if someone didn't see him running along highway, stop, try to get him at which point he ran and they got him down there, and picked him up. In any event, the trail did go cold and right now I think everyone's trying to figure out where to go from here. What I CAN say is those of you in the area, PLEASE continue to keep an eye out for Oliver. It is possible he was picked up. I don't know how scents work and if there could be another reason it stopped. We need all of you in the area to keep an eye out, spread the word (if you want posters MESSAGE US!!), and if you have a spare hour or even afternoon, head out and look for him! We know he followed the highway and we know where the scent stopped.
Found Corgitag:mycorgi.com,2013-03-13:1150197:Topic:17188742013-03-13T21:23:39.251ZMaggi Whttp://mycorgi.com/profile/MaggiW
