Hi!
He doesn't think that the animals will ever get along and that it's a hopeless case.

My female Corgi, Ziggy, does not ever participating in running and chasing at home right now. My male, Cash, will chase because he follows what the other dogs do.

Neither of them have ever seen a cat. Cash sometimes will participate in chasing squirrels with the big dogs. He has a good recall and when he starts running, I can call him back to me very quickly.

The 2 cats have never lived with a dog. As I don't have as much experience with them, I've been told that the larger one doesn't like dogs and swats them. They do not have claws though. They are indoor cats.

My dogs sleep with me, and are my little partners in crime.

I'm in dire need of as much advice on how to make this work. It's such a sensitive subject in my relationship!

Should I introduce one dog at a time? Or both at the same time?

I know this topic has been discussed, but they're typically introducing Corgis at as pups. Has anyone had any experience with introducing cats and dogs at an older age rather than as puppies/kittens? I just don't feel comfortable with this. Especially because Chase suffers from the occasional seizure. This is a rare occurrence but I would be worried that the harsh conditions of the cargo area would not help to prevent one.
While I would rather just make the long road trip with my Corgi in the car with me, my boyfriend and I are not confident that our vehicles could make the drive from SC to CA without blowing up. So that is not really an option.
I have recently been checking out a pet transportation service called Pet Airways. Their flights are specifically for pets, no humans except for the flight attendants and staff. All pets are kept in a well lit, temperature controlled area and are given potty breaks, food and any medications they may need. They flight attendants monitor the pets every 15 minutes and the pets are NOT kept in the cargo area but instead are in the same area that people would sit on the plane. The planes are small and in the event of a delay they are kept in the airline's pet hotel. I really like this idea however I am still concerned.
Has anyone ever used Pet Airways or any other pet transportation service?
What have your experiences been with these services?
Do you think it would be safe enough for Chase to travel in the cargo area of a plane even though he has the occasional seizure? Have you ever done this?

Can any one in North Carolina help “Smidgen”?tag:mycorgi.com,2011-10-08:1150197:Topic:13346732011-10-08T02:36:01.716ZDavid, Sons & Thia the Corgihttp://mycorgi.com/profile/DavidSonsThiatheCorgi

Hello Everyone,
My cat friend Zimmy had recently undergone surgery and because he did not have pet insurance (which is highly recommended folks get it!) had to pay way over 1 grand in vet bills and vet stay. Me (Bowser) being the love nugget I am had volunteered to be the poster doggie for the Android OS clocks and with the best of wishes to help them pay the vet bills.

All proceeds will go to paying Zimmy's surgery bills, as I will not receive any money for this.

The clock application will work on the Android OS phones and will feature a bundle of clocks not just one!

Thanks for your help
Hello everyone,

My Puppy Bowser is having 3 issues I am very concerned about.

1. He refuses to go potty outside no matter how long and how much grass there is around him.

Info: My puppy has a Potty Patch. We got this for him because we do not have a yard and because our apartment is dog friendly, we wanted to keep him indoors until he completed all his shots cause parvo can be anywhere out in front of our apartment, there is so many dogs. He completed his shots 3 or 4 weeks ago i cannot remember its in my Vet Book. Now the Potty patch is great, Bowser always does his business on it, both pee and poo and has not missed a beat though now that he is older he occasionally misses because he is just too large for it now. Now the problem is, he refuses to go anywhere but on the Potty Patch. After a 1 hour walk in only a small area of my complex, ive tried everything to get him to pee, but he is just so happy to be outside that he just wont do any business out there. He will run right to the potty patch when we get home.

2. He is so hyper outdoors he just does not listen to me at all, won't sit, he won't even eat treats, once he is outdoors all he wants to do is tug really hard on the leash, smell the entire world and the strangers in it.

Info: When Bowser is in the house, he does all his tricks, he listens, he is very calm. Once he is outside he is the exact opposite. I understand he is a puppy so i guess i'm wondering if he will ever relax once its time to go outside because it's definitely frustrating to have such a hyper guy trying to smell the entire world and attempt to chase any car passing by.

3. Related to number 2, but still a separate concern, he pulls exceptionally hard on the leash even choking himself.

Info: He pulls super hard on the leash, i follow the 2 finger rule on his collar and i give him plenty of slack when he is walking calmly *rare*, but he will rush at full speed and keep going forward even if it chokes him. It's really not a good thing and i do not want him to hurt himself at all. Now because of that concern, we purchased a harness for him, but same behavior, super pulling and hardcore rushing. How do i get him to stop this behavior and walk in a relaxing manor.

Any help / Advice would be most appreciated. I watch videos and such all the time about these things but i feel like the videos are sorta vague on subjects like this which require more experience and Details!

My corgi "Picasso" has started to develop aggression towards large dogs. If they get near his ears or face or try to stand over him, he goes psycho on them and tries to bite them. Now its not all large dogs but a lot of them. His face first looks as if he is scared and then "tries to get them before they get him." I have stopped him, but sometimes its hard to step in because he is so fast and just runs away. I have started to use a muzzle if i know we will be around large dogs. It has sort of…

I see no fleas. They scratch so very much. Is there something I can give them for dry skin? You may have discussed this earlier and I missed it!

Kipper has food aggression, he is stiff when he eats and scans the area while he eats. Also he eats as fast as he can. When my cats come near him he will attack them. He has bitten me before and i'm afraid he will hurt someone and have to be put down. At the dog park sometimes he will find a smell he likes and if another dog comes near he will attack them and get into a fight. I'm afraid he will hurt another dog or he himself will be hurt because he's not a very big dog... Also he's becoming…
