Our Brody is almost 4 years old and we've had him since he was a pup. Tonight, for the first time ever, he laid down to eat his dinner! He's already so short, don't know why he had to get lower! Do other corgis do this? He seems to be moving well and walking comfortable. Strange he should start doing this.

The only time Maddie laid down to eat was right after she'd been spayed. Frankly they eat so fast, there is no time to lie down!

Permalink Reply by liane, emi, and helix! on September 3, 2012 at 3:41am my oldest corgi emi lays down when she eats, and she always has since she was a pup! but i presumed it was because she was truly lazy (and shes also a very picky eater).
everytime i put food out for her, she flops down next to the bowl, and i have to persuade her to eat, so she pretty much just lays there the whole time LOL so im not sure if that is applicable for you at all haha

Picture! Gotta love it when dogs figure out how to be more lazy!
