I highly recommend the <a href="http://www.arlingtondogs.org/parks_shirlington.shtml">Shirlington</a> dog park in Arlington, VA, just off of 395. It's a bit of a drive for us from Bethesda, but it's worth it. It's about .5 mile long, so you are able to get some exercise too, instead of just standing there watching the dogs play. It's 100% fenced in, a separate section for small dogs, and just outside the fence there is a shallow stream... I think we plan to teach Caden how to swim there.
