This is just an heads up for anyone wanting to rescue a corgi. In the grand Junction area we have a 1yr old male who was recently found. Right now he is not in very good shape. As I learn more I will keep everyone informed. I belive that the Corgi rescue will be doing the adopting out of this guy. Anyone interested please start filling out the application.

Just a shot in the dark but did anyone adopted puppies from Corgi Club of Rockies about 4-5 years ago? Specifically from the group of corgis that were rescued from a hoarder in Weld county? Our little Gizmo was in a litter that was born in the rescue. His birthday is 9/30/05 and I was told there are 6 puppies in his litter. Anyway, we would love to hear from parents of his littermates if they are here. :)

You might want to check with Corgi Club of Rockies too, www.pembrokecorgiclub.com. They have a pretty active rescue program. We got our little Gizmo from them.

I've been looking lately too. The only one I know of is in the Animal House shelter on Shields. 4 year old male corgi. I talked to the owner of the Canine Learning Center who does corgi rescue and she said that he was surrendered because he was beating up the other dog in the house. At the time he was an intact male, though and has now been neutered. I think he also did some food guarding. He wouldn't work out for me because I live on a farm with lots of other animals around, but you should go take a look.

I've noticed people get rid of their corgis a lot on Craigslist in CO. Sad, but possibly a way to save a corgi from the shelter.

Hi everyone! =) Still not too sure how this site exactly works but someone kindly recommended me to join this group! I live in Fort Collins and am looking to find a Corgi! If anyone knows of a good breeder, or anyone selling a Corgi please help me out! Thanks!

I don't know if anyone is interested but I ran across free corgi mix pups on craigslist. They are 1/2 Corgi and 1/4 lab, 1/8 boxer, and 1/8 English Mastiff
Who knows what they will turn out but they are cute as can be now!
