Our corgi Camber recently passed away and we'd like to get another corgi as soon as possible. We'd prefer an young adult, but am open to any possibilities.

Please send me a PM if you know of a corgi who needs re-homing or any other corgi we may be able to buy/adopt.

-Moses
Corgi Romp in Bare Cove Park, Hingham April 15tag:mycorgi.com,2012-03-07:1150197:Topic:14801112012-03-07T21:44:26.559ZPippy & Ralphhttp://mycorgi.com/profile/CAlger

Come for a corgi romp in the scenic coastal Bare Cove Park in Hingham, MA on Sunday, April 15 at 2pm. We will meet up in the parking lot on Bare Cove Drive off of Fort Hill Street. Dogs must be leashed in the parking lot but the park seems to be tolerant off leash within the park grounds. There is a beach if your corgi is a swimmer, so bring a towel!!

RSVP appreciated but not required. Please send/post a message.

I was suckered into black Friday shopping today at the Emerald Sq Mall and didn't know they had a Deb's. While I can't stand this chain on pet stores they had the most adorable male Pem. He's colored very much like my Killian, but no black on the face and darker brown eyes. This boy is VERY licky and VERY high energy. He was going for $850 and I would have picked him up myself but can't be training two at the same time. :D

I'm heartbroken. He's almost 5 months (16 wks), is 9 lbs, and has had no structure besides the window-cage he's kept in. I've dubbed him Zorro because he has a bit of a mask...and because he's teething and very deftly left his "marks of Zorro" all over my hands. It's obvious that he's smart, energetic and healthy. He seems a bit overfed, if anything (they had to have put three whole cups of puppy food in his dish). So why am I heartbroken? Because they're already marketing him as "older"…

He seems a bit overfed, if anything (they had to have put three whole cups of puppy food in his dish). So why am I heartbroken? Because they're already marketing him as "older" and "on-sale" (for a "steal" at $945 + tax). Because he's registered with APR and--from what I've gathered about APR--is likely to be the product of a puppy mill. Because I don't want to fund Debbie's Pet Land but I do want to make sure he gets out of there. And because Mike and I are still hemming and hawing about whether or not we're ready for another dog right now.

So I thought I'd turn to you all. Zorro obviously needs a family who is used to corgis' energy and playfulness and need for consistent training. He'll need a family with patience and time to keep him busy. I'd love to hear that he ended up with someone that was ready and willing to take on the challenges of an "older" puppy, whether or not that someone ends up being me.

If you're interested, I'll send you the information I have about him. If you've got advice for anyone interested (myself included), please post it here! I'm also thinking I should notify Mayflower Pem Rescue, even though he's not technically eligible for rescue; they might just be able to find the right person to go scoop him up. I'm thinking about taking Pepper before dinner (when there's a lot of nice shade), but if anyone wants to make more solid plans, it'd be great to make it an official meet-up!
