Shepdog, How old is Caleb? Sooner is not quite 17 months old.

If it makes you feel any better, Shepdog, we saddled Blizzard, Sooner's blue merle pack mate with quite a name! Bear in mind, I paid $10 extra to AKC register this...Possumshire's Faerily Blessed Wintry Mix!! Possumshire...because he looked like a giant possum when the moon hit him just right, Faerily blessed...a nod to the fairy legend, Wintry Mix...his flight was delayed several times due to a wintry mix of bad weather! Caleb's can't be any worse! =) Petra, Your dogs are very nice! =)

Well now we have a "few" brindles here at Fromax Kennel:-) First out ofcourse our clown: Frodo, his daughter Tina, the queen; Saga, the "now daddy twice"; Tiger, Tina & Tiger´s son Bilbo (10 months), Saga & Tiger´s daughter Tinker Bell (12 weeks).. So we also hav two Brindle Points; Holly and Bamse (Meriadoc Brandybuck)...

Yup, just half brothers - Caleb's mom was from a different kennel. Poor Caleb, at least Sooner's registered name is adorable. His, not so much. All of us involved with him have our own kennel names (well, mine's from when I was showing cats, haha, poor guy, how embarrassing) so his full name is a combo of all three.

I have to say that I love Sooner's coat and bone and expression. It's great to see an older dog to look at and go, man, I hope Caleb matures out as nice as your guy! Trucker does seem to sure stamp his kids though - even on very different lines. :D

I guess that makes them 1/2 brothers! The 2 legged boys picked the name "Sooner" first and then we came up with AKC name. Trucker is a gorgeous brindle and Caleb's brindle-ing looks a lot like his! =)

*grins* Sooner and Caleb have the same dad! Neat to know!

(Sooner's full name is terribly cute!)

Sooner's name is Notzmo-Somerset Okie Prairie Dog, and yes he did come from Sharon but in a round-about way. His dad is Somerset-Notts Turbo Trucker. His mom is Scaura's Grins and Giggles. He was the last litter of pups from Somerset. Paige, his breeder, passed away and was a close friend of Sharon's. Sharon bought the pups, and other dogs, from Paige's estate. Sharon sold him to us and we celebrated his one year anniversary (with us) yesterday! I thought I recognized Figg and Newton from the alumni gallery on Notts' website. They are beautiful Cardis! =)

Welcome Sooner. He looks somewhat like my Figg, who also is from Oklahoma - her breeder is Sharon Nottingham and she is from CH Phi-Vestavia Nott A Gamble and Visa. Sooner must be related somehow.

Hello everyone! Sooner, who hails from Oklahoma, is our brindle Cardi clown! He manages to do something every day to make us laugh, or at the very least, scratch our heads! =)

We were told Violet is a brown brindle. She is a "fluff coat" cardigan and very soft. I'm glad to see a group dedicated to brindles. I was seeing so many red's on the site I was wondering if anyone loved brindles. Hurray Brindles!
