I have way too many pics of them sleeping together. This one is the best, though :).

The cat is 9 years old. He is very mellow and little bigger than Hana now. We used to have another corgi before Hana and they got along pretty well...used to play together, but it has been 2 years since our cat had dog living with us. He comes and sniffs Hana sometimes, but most of the times watches her from higher ground where she can't get to him.

how old is the cat? Hana will probably have no problem with the cat if accepts her. our crazy cat has been caught nuzzling Sonny and cleaning his ears!

We just got Hana, our corgi puppy last week so our resident cat and her are trying to figure out their relationship...

My fluffy cardi, Jon Farleigh, and our cat, Lulabelle, became fast friends while we waited for our second cardi, Dewi, to come home. Jon Farleigh has decided that Dewi is a much better wrestler than Lula, but still treats Lula like a sister.:)

I'm so sorry for your loss of Riley! We lost our first corgi, Susie, a year and a half ago so I can imagine how you're feeling. It's great to hear that your new corgi is settling into your home nicely, though. I'm jealous that your cats are so quick to befriend a dog! We have 2 cats - one is afraid of Joshua and tries to avoid him, the other kind of likes to play with him occasionally but I cannot say they are *close*. I keep hoping one day to catch one of our cats snuggled up with Joshua, but I don't know if it'll ever happen. :)

Hi - A couple months ago we lost our precious Riley he was very ill, well we have 3 cats as well and when Riley passed away , it was very hard on us .But it was also very hard on one of our cats Lexie, my white one,she was Riley's buddy they were always together, when he passed she walked around the house for days crying loudly and would constantly sleep in his bed by the door.Well we got a new corgi Toby about 3 weeks after Riley passed and this little guy is 19 months old, well immediatly when we got him all three of our cats took to him asap, especially Lexie she literally has become his guardian, watching over him never wonders to far way from him- she would cry the first week we brought him home every time we took him outside and then sit in the window watching him outside, then when he came in she would run to him and check to make sure he was ok..Now our black and white one sleeps next to him alot our orange and white she likes him -but still skiddish and not sure of him.. Toby surely has brought back happiness to our home -not only with my daughter and I but with our cats as well...

Well, she got out again - 4:15 this morning when Lucky was having problems. Out the fence she went! I could hear an owl, and just knew she would be taken. So, I sent Sonny out...i called to her, she saw Sonny and came! Go figure.

We live in the country and don't let the cat out because of cayotes, Gina got out this morning....I was so stressed, but she saw Sonny, her favorite corgi and ran right up to him and started rubbing against him! She didn't even try to go through the fence to go after the birds.

Crystal (who has been with the 'family' of one other corgi and 5 cats for nearly 2 months now) and Mokey, a maine coon mix cat. Mokey is a registered therapy cat, so is usually tolerant of dogs anyway. He's not so sure he's pleased with the way that Crystal keeps licking his face! Since the dogs came last, two of the cats still don't like them and probably never will, but the other three are good with them! No cuddling though, at least not yet....
