So I went to the pet store today and bought a few cute things for the Raffle For Rescue. Those sausage links are the CUTEST toy I have ever seen!! So I bought one for the Raffle and one for my boys too (which Eddie stole for himself right away)!!!! So the sausage links are DEFINITELY Corgi approved!! LOL!

By the way....

Is there a rain date as Flicker mentioned earlier?

If so I will add that to my calendar as well.  I am hoping that we have a dry, cool September 8th and my two Corgis, Wynne & Will, will have a blast!

I agree with Julia about the name tags.

After attending your great picnic last year, I helped organize the Illinois picnic in Freeport and I brought name tags. I think it helped everyone a lot.  I had them write their name large and in the middle of the tag and then at the bottom add the names of their Corgis.  That way I could tell who was with who.

Looking forward to this year's picnic!

Thanks for the welcome to the cheesehead corgis. Jotted down the date for the picinic. Will plan on attending. Can help out if needed. Just let me know. Looking forward meeting all the pets and parents.

Last year was my first time. I met a lot of people with nice regular people names. But I know people here by their cyber names. How about name tags with our forum names on them. Then I'll be able to tell Flicker from CorGeek, etc. Whatta you guys think? :)

Yes! I'm putting the event on my calendar...and I won't let the company send me out of town this time!

Oh, yes, a Corgi Picnic! We had fun last year, and are looking forward to this one. The date is on my calendar.

Even my "honorary corgi", the spaniel, had fun.

September 8 - Putting that date on my calendar!

Loved the park last year.  It was perfect for the Corgis.

Are you planning Sept 15 as a rain date as you said before?  I just want to know whether to hold both dates open or not.

Saturday Sept. 8, 1-5 at the Jefferson Dog Park--Small Dog area (same as last years).

I am currently working on the flyer in-between my redecorating/spring cleaning lol.
