This is Gibson! We adopted him from the Downey Shelter on Feb 13, 2013. They told us that he is Corgi mixed with Chihuahua. We're not sure but most people see the Corgi in him. Any thoughts?

(shelter said chihuhua, but I don't think so)tag:mycorgi.com,2011-07-14:1150197:Topic:11644512011-07-14T17:55:35.716ZElizabeth Throneberryhttp://mycorgi.com/profile/Elizabeth258

Hey everyone. This is my dog Chase. We know that one of his parents was a purebred Welsh Corgi, but we are having a heck of a time trying to figure out what the other half might be. The shelter said he was half chihuahua, but he looks nothing like any of the chi mixes I've seen. He looks more like a rottweiler than anything, but I think he's too small to be a rott mix. Any guesses? He's next to my bassett hound, and they're about the same size.

Hi everyone,

This is Sugar, a sweet recent rescue who we've guessed to be Corgi and some sort of Terrier -- most likely Wheaten (?). Any other guesses would be welcomed!

She was dumped in a rural area of southeastern Idaho and picked up by a local rescue group. Her foster mama said it took two baths to get all of the dirt out of her coat!

Sugar has the long and low body style of a Corgi, though she has a more petite build and slightly longer legs. She also has a lot of Corgi in her temperament and has been shedding her undercoat prolifically now that it's spring! Her ears are usually down but stand right up if she hears an interesting noise.

She's about a year old and 24 lbs of shaggy cuddles, super sweet with our young kids and always game for a walk.
Corgi/???? mixtag:mycorgi.com,2011-05-15:1150197:Topic:10376762011-05-15T05:27:34.841ZElizabeth Throneberryhttp://mycorgi.com/profile/Elizabeth258

If anyone is in the Southern Colorado area and is interested I ran across an oops litter of Corgi mix pups on craigslist. The dam was purebred Pembroke and the sire is 1/2 lab, 1/4 boxer and 1/4 English mastiff. Who knows how they'll turn out but they look VERY corgi now and are super cute. Here is the link:

We just adopted him in May-we're fairly sure he's a Welsh Cardigan and not a Pembroke cross. We were wanting to do the doggy dna test but they haven't added corgi to their database so we're still on hold to determine what mix he is (Just for interest sake-we love mixed breeds, and he's with us forever-but CURIOSITY is getting to us!! LOL)
He's approximately 15-16" at the shoulder (Depends if he's slouching), he has the croup shape of the Cardigan from what I've read, the big tail and the…
