We spent the week in Kentucky at a horse camp by Mammoth Cave. Corky and his cohort, Mr Paddington spent the day in the horse trailer while we rode. The horse trailer has a living quarters like an RV in the front with the horse area in the back. We came back one afternoon to find Corky had discovered the dirty laundry bag hung in the back of the trailer and had pulled it down and rummaged thru til he found all the panties and had a heyday gnawing on them all. We walked in to find him high on stinky underwear lying with them strewn everywhere! He's a frat boy gone on a wild panty raid!

Happy Mother's Day to all you corgi moms! Hope your pups don't get into too much trouble on this special day!

I keep corky gated off in the kitchen area while we are at work and leave some bones for him. When we are home he has the run of the house but mostlly stays by my side but he does chew wierd things but i can at least head off any major destruction and hes 21/2! So keeping him in the kitchen during the day protects my stuff much better. Our kitchen is good size so he has lots of room and it keeps hair in the rest of the house down.

I'm with you Jane. When a corgi wants to make mischief, they'll find a way!

Puppy proofing only works so well...unless we can put electrical plug ins up high...I heard this funny noise coming from the floor yesterday and there was Sage chewing on a plugged in lamp cord...GRRRRRRR...and she's 14 months!

@Bev - I used to call it stupidity. J/K. I loved this bad boy from the start. Yes, he drove me craaaaaazy for months. But, I believed he would grow out of it. It was mostly his sweetness that made me hang in there, even when I think Jack was ready to give us both the boot. LOL.

But thanks. I also credit this group for the laughs and support I got when I needed it. I just posted some photos of him on the Tri-color corgi group. He's really grown up. Doug fixed up the color on one of them and I'm going to re-post it. I want to get a new profile photo of Lucy and Ricky. How are your guys doing?  What's Sparty been into?

Wendy,  I give you credit mostly for not giving up on the little stinker!!

PS I guess I can take some credit. I have trained him vigilantly and vigorously and am home with him all the time. My husband also takes him around on all his errands. Lucy prefers home to the car. Me too!  ; )
