Comment by Tegan, Carol & John on February 17, 2012 at 11:21pm: Tegan isn't scared of the vacuum. She views it as an opportunity to do things that I can't hear.... This is her helping me clean the house. She's very proud. And yes, that was a brand new roll of paper towels. After killing it and saving the house from its evil powers, she needed a nap.

Comment by Bonni B on February 16, 2012 at 6:15pm: This photo's a little dark and probably fuzzy because I was laughing so hard when I took it. I watched Lucy walk up to my cactus and rip the whole thing out of the pot. I could tell by the look on her face what she was going to do but I was too slow to grab her. She then decided to run through the whole house with it in her mouth leaving a ton of dirt all over my carpet, eventually stopping to try and eat it before I grabbed it away. I couldn't help but laugh watching her be so proud at what she had done. Thankfully, the cactus was able to be replanted and is physically ok but I'm sure it's still a little traumatized.

I guess that's better than what Sunny did to the love seat, excavating for the suspected mouse nest inside! So, I NEED this group! LOL!

Comment by Lisa B on February 14, 2012 at 3:00pm: In this story I am the criminal sadly! My husband and I had "words" the other morning, and quite loudly I might add! After he slammed out the door, I stomped to the bathroom to get ready for work mumbling about husbands the whole way. After taking a shower, getting dressed, and putting on my make up, I thought it was strangely silent in the house. No nails clicking across the floor, no bones being dropped, no whining to go out. I thought where in the world are the dogs? I checked outside, went through a few rooms thinking they might have got shut in but nothing. So I called their names and simultaneously, side by side, two black noses poked out from under the bed skirt. I burst out laughing and they exploded out from under the bed, wriggling in delight that the war was over! I assured them mom and dad were not getting a divorce! Sheesh, good thing these two weren't around when the kids were still at home, they would have permanently camped out under the bed!

Comment by Bev Levy on January 20, 2012 at 8:55am: Yes Wendy, our Daughter-in-law is a beauty and is also very smart and fun, my son chose very well. Misty, the dobe, is a riot once you figure out her very quiet mannerisms. Such a contrast compared to the corgis "all out there" attitude. She always looks like she is posing for a protection poster!

Having owned only Corgis since I was 16, I didn't know that other breeds didn't show every emotion on their faces! And OMG, that sofa. Made Ricky-Rafa look like an amateur. Speaking of facial expressions, your daughter-in-law takes the cake (pun!). What a face on her. Adorable. Looks like your son got a wonderful girl, and knowing you, she is a lucky bride! Congratulations to all of you.

Comment by Bev Levy on January 19, 2012 at 7:44pm: I also think that photo is hilarious! Bully breeds have a great goofy look. I think Corgis have the most expressive faces of any breed. On the other hand, our Doberman rarely changes expression. I think that is why they are so often perceived as threatening. This is a photo of her after eating a layer of the wedding cake I was making for my son and new daughter-in-law's wedding cake! She looks unrepentant..
