Ha, ha guys! Actually the 2 year old is capable of doing that. I only get to see them about every 3 months because they live in Denver and I live in Michigan. I leave Wednesday so I will get my laughs while my daughter (who was a handful as a child) gets frustrated! Meanwhile my gray haired boy, Sparty, sleeps with memories of naughty days running through his brain.

Hey Bev, come hang out with me and R/R. He's a laugh a minute. Lucy just rolls her eyes and sometimes even rats on him. He delights in finding random items and running around with it hanging out of his mouth. It fills him with such joy.

Bev, I hope the grandsons don't race through the front room and poop on the carpet!  However...stuff happens doesn't it?

Gee I wish all of you lived close!! I miss puppyhood and my "Dennis the Menace" is 12 and other than being a little grumpy sometimes never misbehaves. Izzy even as a puppy only wanted to be a good girl. I must be crazy but I miss the days of watching a puppy race by with something he should not have in his mouth while stopping to quickly poop in the living room on his way..... At least I have grandsons about every 3 months to make me laugh at their antics!

@ Doug - I have no doubt that R/R would try to corrupt Gromit, but Gromit is not corruptible. I think you and Gromit should meet with all of us here. Don't worry, Doug. None of us would ever part with our corgi of chaos!

@ Doug - I'm sure with a little time and patience, R/R can teach him a thing or two.

@ Jane - I know you know all about forever dogs. They keep us young, but just like our kids (the 2-legged variety) they can sometimes add a few gray hairs, haha.

Wendy, the heat is waning now, only about 102° today.  Time to break out the long underwear!  I am grateful that as bored as Gromit gets during the summer, he doesn't turn to mischief to keep himself amused.

well when you guys have had enough of the AZ heat, why not spend a few days here so the only house damage will be ours.
