Sunny Garden Farm Corgis

I just wanted to wrangle up the people who got a corgi from the breeder I did in Oneida Il. Trying to see if anyone on here may have any of cooper's relatives!

Have Sunny Garden Corgis ever had a "picnic" or "family reunion"?

Anyone live anywhere near Carol Stream Illinois?

Welcome, we also have a corgi from Sandy Her name is Gracie and we got her 2yrs ago. Shes such a girl, and such a joy, always happy. She does have her girly moments tho. Dont remember the parents, will have to go home and look now.

Welcome! We got our little girl Roxy from Sandy a little over 3 years ago. Her parents were Trixi and Jazz. She is the light of our lives. We tried agility with her but she was just too stubborn and more interested in chasing the other dogs off the equipment. All was good though as I found out I was pregnant and could not continue the classes with her. Now she is a big sister to our son Vincent and she "herds" him around the house and yard. :)

Thanks! It's nice to hear from you :-)  I am amazed by this little dog; he is unlike any other dog I have had in the past.  What a personality!  Sandy is very nice, I sent her a picture of Sonny in his new home and spoke to her a couple of times about how he is doing, and she did seem pleased to hear about his progress.  I told her we were going to give agility a try and she said that was a great idea for Sonny.

i was just down visiting sandy and the hounds this past week. my joker is out of my boy, jack and her barbie. have known sandy for a number of years. so, i also know your puppy's parents. grandma trixi had fun yelling at my jack, who is 12 years old. have fun with your puppy and don't hesitate to call sandy if you have any questions. little secret- she loves getting pictures and updates on her pups. glad yoou found this group. not a lot of activity but it's nice to know it's here. take care

I can't believe I found this group!  We got a tri-colored corgi from Sandy at Sunny Garden last month.  His name is Sonny and he is 4 months old.  His father is Hogan and his mother is Mary.  His grandfather is Gambler and his grandmother is Trixi

As far as surgery, if it is needed in the f uture you could rwright corgi aide and see if you could get help with the cost of it, they also have wheelchair resources.

Oh, Sandy, no.  You did not go off in a new direction.  I was interested to hear your thinking.  I am so hoping it heals after all this.  No stairs, definitely!!  We should have stopped doing that before, as she was healing.  She snuck up the stairs twice.    I felt I needed you to know about Maggie as she's from you and maybe there is something there you need to know.

Sorry that you are feeling tired...aren't we all?  Get some rest!

I am trying to find her papers...and I am not having luck.  She was born sometime in January of 2005.  (I was a year off) We bought her in March of that year.  It does sound as if Corky was the sire, and I remember that her mother was a tri color.  I can't remember her name.  I cannot afford $5K surgery with no guarantee.  I read that many Corgis have had DM surgery and still do not walk with their hind legs.  I love my dog and she is not that old.  I am sure that she has more years left.
