Hi,

My name is Renee and have a dynamic rescue corgi named Lacey. I was wondering if there is a meetup of corgis in the West LA or Santa Monica area. I grew up here, moved to Santa Cruz, and have recently moved back again. By the way, I am a watercolor portrait artist who specializes in corgis (although I paint all pets and children too). Please visit my website www.portraits-by-renee.com for more info. Thanks!

fine, I think. She loves to play and is still very puppyish. She is
protective over my husband so that worries me a bit. She will not let
me love on him without getting in the middle. She has even lunged at me
(I know, this has got to stop! But, I think it was more playing).
Gracie likes to play rough with my husband and sometimes nips him. I
worry about her doing this to her brother or her brother learning from
him.

My questions are:
1) Crating - obviously, they
should have their "own" crates. Would it be okay for the crates to be
next to each other or a part?

2) Feeding - How do you feed them? Together or Separately?

3) Attention - How to split your attention between 2 dogs? Will there be jealousy?

4) Toys - Every toy is Gracie's!

5) Will puppy learn Gracie's "bad" habits?

6) Will there be fighting?

7) Last but not least, any suggestions for names that begin with a "D" for a boy?

I
think we have lost our minds! I think it would be good to do this
sooner or later before Gracie gets too old. She is very spoiled and
very strong-willed now. We're glutton for punishment!

Thanks for the input!

Dara

My sweet male Corgi drags his front paws enough to wear his nail beds down. This is my fourth Corgi and I've never had this problem. I've read that it could be a nuerological disorder but he is completely perfect other than this. Anyone else ever have this problem?

I just joined this group because I'm growing somewhat tired of MySpace as I'm not getting enough "networking" through that site. Could someone please explain how I complete the registration for Facebook? I hit a snag when it comes to entering the email and email ID on the second step, don't know what the problem is. Also, do I have to have my full name displayed? My privacy is quite important to me and would prefer not to have my last name splattered on the internet. Any guidance here is…
