Comment by vicky hyde on February 3, 2013 at 11:32pm mine know how to be pretty and not a heck of a lot more. Jack knows how to sass back, fart, snore and belch. oh, and he's real good at begging. he actually drools at times. they are family first then show dog. dog showing is nerve wrecking. joke is out with a handler due to my health problems. I adore this breed although, depending on things, I might be adding a bulldog next year and then in 2014 another corgi. it will be a joker puppy. we have a breeding planned to a very pretty black-headed tri girl down at Joker's breeder's house. should be some lovely puppies. have fun with Wilson and keep us up-dated on how you are all doing. take care, vicky
Comment by Wilson Waddlepants and Joyce on February 3, 2013 at 8:40pm Hi Vicky ! Well your pups certainly are accomplished. You must be so proud. Wilson can back up, sit, stay, come, give me his paw, lay down and roll over. That's it ! Showing dogs must be a lot of fun. Thanks for writing back to me. JOYCE
Comment by vicky hyde on February 2, 2013 at 8:55pm the trhee from left to right are: jack, joker and jinx. jack is their dad. he is a retired show dog (needed 2 little majors and could never find them) all 3 have their UKC Grand Championships. joker is out showing,=. he has done the most of the 3 he has his AKC, UKC Grand Championships and also is an IABCA Champion. he has a couple of Best in Shows and Reserve Best in Shows (UKC and IABCA)and so far, 3 Group 4's in AKC. he loves showing but so did his dad. I entered the old one last year to help build majors and he went Reserve to Joker. the first day. they both are happy, happy hounds. jack and joker live with me and jinx lives in Illinois.
Comment by Wilson Waddlepants and Joyce on February 2, 2013 at 7:47pm Hi Vicki, we got Wilson from a breeder in Murfreesboro, TN who is also a vet who works at a spay neuter clinic. She is the president of a dog obedience and agility club and shows her dogs also. We live about an hour away. She doesn't breed her Corgis very often, but she had a litter last September with two tris and Wilson. We scooped him up. Our 10 1/2 year old Pembroke (Winston/my profile picture) died on August 12th last year and needless to say we were heartbroken. Girlie knows how to assert herself if necessary, but you're right, Wilson does run her being the good little Corgi that he is ! Your picture shows three Corgis, but your profile says you have Jack and Joker (love the names!) Do you have a new Corgi or did you have to part with one ? JOYCE
