Thanks Stephen. I'll definitely do that. :]
If you want to see some pics of not fluff and fluff at one day I can show you but you must send a message for me to email you and I will get some to you.
Thanks for your comment, Stephen! I will start checking the breeders closest to me. I was just hoping someone would have a fluff right now, or knows a breeder that gets fluffs occasionally. So far the breeders that I've talked to (who don't dock their pups anyway) don't get fluffs. Didn't know that you could tell fluffs at birth though. That makes me feel a little more hopeful. And hopefully the US will catch up with banning docking soon. Thanks again! :]
Welcome joyce to the world of fluff.
Welcome to the family! We have two fluffs and just think they are the bomb. I think that with that fluffy gene comes the extra sweetness gene too!
Just wanted to say hi and introduce ourselves. My name is Joyce and I was lucky enough to be adopted by a Black White and Brindle Cardigan male named Booker. He is such a sweet pea and a snuggle bug. I love my fluffy boy.
Speak to your breeders (see below). There are natural bobs turning up and those with no tails in the lines (be careful with breeding for health) and then there is the real beauty of a fluff with a full tail. A good breeder will bend over backwards knowing that the pup has a home to go to but don't let them down.
Ask your chosen breeder to choose a pup for you at birth, they know which are fluffs (I do so they do) and to leave its tail on. You could be waiting a long time but!!!
Here in the UK we have to leave the tails on and they are beautiful.
Hi there fellow fluffy lovers!
I'm not a fluffy owner (or even a dog owner) yet, but I'm looking into getting my first corgi and I would looove a red and white fluffy boy. (If by chance anyone has one with an undocked tail, that would be extra amazing. But I'm not keeping my hopes up. Haha.) Does anyone know of any breeders that either have fluffies right now, or get them once in a while? I'm not in an absolute rush to get a dog, but if the perfect one pops up, I'm not gonna say no either. I live in So Cal and would of course prefer a breeder that I could meet, but I'm open to shipping from reputable breeders. If anyone has any information, please let me know! Thank you very much! :]
I have not posted in a long long time. I just adore my two fluffs. Gracie will be 3 next month and Dyson will be two that month too. They are a year and 28 days apart. They really do get along well with an occasional skirmish. I love to watch them chase each other. They have two different personalities - both very sweet but Gracie is a bit bitchier and bossy. Dyson will let you do anything to him. He is so laid back but not completely innocent. I love the fluffs!
