The name of the soft Elizabethan collar we have is "The Comfy Cone." Here's a link to Amazon for it: http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=the+comfy+cone&ta...
Comment by Emma & Maggie on October 11, 2012 at 11:59am So sorry to hear that Casey's sick... hope he feels better soon!!! Yep we were also looking forward to meeting all of you, but then we'll do it some time in the future when he's all better :) We'll have to keep in touch!
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear it! Here's hoping he feels better soon! We have an Elizabethan collar we use that we really like a lot. It is made of a soft material, not the plastic, and so they are able to lift their head and move around but not really reach anything. (As a result, they can't really eat or drink with it on, so you have to take it off periodically.) We got ours at a pet store, but I can't remember which one. When I go home tonight, I'll take a better look at it and tell you the brand name and try to even take a photo.
I hope you'll try and host again -- I know the girls (and me) were really looking forward to it, but in the meantime I hope Casey gets better soon, the poor thing!
Comment by Casey and Madonna on October 11, 2012 at 9:21am Unfortunately Casey and I will have to cancel his play date on Saturday, October 13th. He has licked his front foot (allergies) to the point that he has a bacterial infection, is on antibiotics and is wearing an e-collar. He is so miserable.
I hate seeing him so unhappy. I need to get him a different e-collar. Does anyone have any suggestions where it will do the job of not letting him lick his foot but provide easier movement. He can not hold his head up high enough to get around easily because it is so big.
Again, I am so sorry about Saturday. I will try again.

Comment by Kellly Bentley on September 27, 2012 at 4:11pm Hi everyone, my name is Kelly and I am a true Corgi lover. I live in Luray, Va. In May I had to put my first corgi of 12 years down as she got ill with DM. She was a sable and white corgi and was definately my dream dog. I was crushed when I had to put her down. I decided to get another corgi so in June I bought a Tri Color which I have named Pippa. She is 6 months old now. When I got my first corgi in July 2000, my husband and I attended a corgi picinic in Maryland. It was a blast. I have not seen any such activities in my area.
Great! This sounds like a lot of fun. Now, let's just hope it doesn't rain! :-(
I'll bring pasta in a crock pot and some bread to go along with it. Oh, and some Diet Coke! All I need now is an address. And I will be bringing my hubby as well as both our corgis, Phoebe and Tori.
Comment by Emma & Maggie on September 27, 2012 at 9:04am I'm willing to help out in any way : ) Just let me know... For the food, I can bring chips and a variety of dips, and i'll bring mini scones that are really yummy...pasta sounds good kim!
