CORGIS NEED TO START TRAINING!!!
Dear Maria and Thiago,

Thank you for your interest in the Dogswalk Against Cancer! According to our information, the Society’s Bark for Life 2010 is the new Dogswalk Against Cancer, a premier pet-centric charity event in New York City aimed at fighting human cancers and celebrating canines as caregivers. The event will be held May 2nd, from 9am to 1pm in Riverside Park (address is below).

Riverside Park
West 108th Street and Riverside Drive
New York, NY 10025

The day will begin with an opening ceremony and continue with a 5K lap-course with each lap themed something different. We will be having a survivor lap, a costume lap, a hat lap, and so forth. There will also be a special ceremony in the middle of the event to celebrate our survivors, honor those lost to cancer, and remember the fight we are in. Vendor booths will be available as well as a dog adoption agency, dog obstacle course, promotions, contests, live entertainment, and a good citizen dog certification. Contests will include: My Dog is Cuter than your Dog and Best Costume.

Please visit our website below for more information. Participants are strongly encouraged to register online for the event, but can register the day of at the registration tent. When registering online, your “team name” should be your dog’s name.

Micheal-That flyball video was cool. we went to the pet expo last weekend and we saw some dogs doing it(not as good as those corgis) and we really want to get the stuff to have Thiago do it. Do you have any idea where I could get one? I dont want a cheaply made one because I have small kids that will probably kill it in the first day if its not sturdy. :-)

We plan to be at prospect park during off leash hours on Monday, Sept 7th. We'll probably be at the dog beach area since Kaycee loves to swim. Here's the link if you plan to join us - http://www.fidobrooklyn.org/features/dogbeach.html

Hi all, Kaycee will be at Cunningham Park Dog Run tomorrow between 3:30PM and 4:30PM if anyone is interested in meeting up. Cunningham Park Dog Run is located at 193rd Street between Aberdeen Road & Radnor Road in Queens. Hope to see you there. :D

Hello! Is there any one here from the Oswego County/Jefferson County of Upstate NY area in this group? We live pretty much right on the county line :)
