Hi there!
I am looking for a reliable dog sitter that keeps the dogs at their place, but doesn't charge an arm and a leg! We live in Portland, have two Corgis and would need them watched for 2 or 3 three nights in mid November. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

We have two adorable corgis but one is very dominant and playful while the other is very submissive and does not like hyperactivity or play. The submissive one has recently began marking (is fully house-trained with a dog door) in the house objects--like toys, bones, sleep areas--of the dominant corgi. She also spends all day hiding to be "out of range" of the other corgi. We've tried everything to curb these behaviors but to no avail. So we are looking for a good home--probably without other…

The submissive one has recently began marking (is fully house-trained with a dog door) in the house objects--like toys, bones, sleep areas--of the dominant corgi. She also spends all day hiding to be "out of range" of the other corgi. We've tried everything to curb these behaviors but to no avail. So we are looking for a good home--probably without other dogs--for her. She is really a sweetheart...meek and shy but oh so lovable. She does not bark, bite, chew or jump up on furniture. I know most people here, if not everyone, already has dogs but I just wanted to put the word out. If you know of anyone who would be interested, please let me know. This is a low-energy, very docile dog who requires minimal exercise (she is not overweight but is small for the breed)...would be perfect for an older person without other pets or small children. She is 6 years old, spayed, and black and white...pictures on my page or I can email. We live in Salem. Thank you so much for any help!!

We've just moved to Corvallis and would like to connect the tons of other corgis we've been seeing with each other. There are so many corgis here! My Pocket would love to get to play with the friendly ones. I'd be happy to try and organize monthly meetups if anyone is game.

Why is there a portland one but no salem one? There is no shortage of corgi owners or corgi lovers in Salem and its surrounding areas. I say we all figure this out. I believe there is a fenced dog park in Keizer that would be an ideal place! Let me know if anyone is interested!!

I live in WI but have a friend in Oregon that can no longer take care of her 2 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Does anyone know of someone willing to take him? He is Special needs as he can not go down stairs as he has nerve damage since birth in his front paw and can not feel the pressure he puts on it. He gets around just fine otherwise. Can someone please help my friend Iris? The Cardigan's Name is Ezekiel or Z for short. Very sweet dog. Get along with most dogs just not little ones…

I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with boarding
facilities around the Portland area. I have to go in for a medical
procedure and the people who would normally watch Sydney are unable to
during this time.

Money is tight, however I want to ensure that the facility is nice and
safe for her. Would love to hear about any experiences you may have had.

My Corgi has become more than I can handle. I am 72 years old with bad knees and can't chase after her when she gets out which is every chance she gets. I need to find a good home for her, where she can have a little running room. She will be one year old on Valentines day. She is up to date on her shots and has been spayed. Any suggestions??
