<p>I received an American Kennel Club Certified Pedigree when I adopted a tri-color Pembroke, "Little Miss Muffett." The breeders are Allen Riggs and Marie Montogomery. My sister-in-law has it (human), and it is treated the same as my Muffett. </p> what can I do to be able to have my corgis become "reading corgis" dog that kids read to.?tag:mycorgi.com,2009-12-04:1150197:Topic:5707592009-12-04T02:28:51.419Znancy and daisyhttp://mycorgi.com/profile/nancyanddaisy
I have 4 very sweet corgi girls. Boudica(Booty), Meave, Rhiannon, and Branwyn. (My husband named them all after Celtic Queens)<br />
I would love to use them as "Reading Corgis" I have seen something like this before . But,can't remember where or what kind of training I would need to do with them.<br />
Rhiannon and Branwyn are only 4 months old and are too young yet. But Booty and Meave will sit very well and both love kids.<br />
Does anyone have any ideas?

I would like to hear from members about how their Corgi fits into their professions. I (Joanna Mell) am a harpist and have a studio at the back of my home. It is my sanctuary. The floor is plywood with carpet on top; when I play the harp, all the vibrations go through the floor, and Ginger, my PWC, loves to lie stretched out on the floor to get a good massage. She is my companion and my inspiration. Just watching her antics during the day, I have written 13 tunes and songs for her and some of…

She is also the official greeter when my students come, and also the fur therapist. She has enhanced my life so much! I am very grateful to have her; we got her through Corgi Rescue. thanks for inviting me!tag:mycorgi.com,2009-08-17:1150197:Topic:4991832009-08-17T15:38:20.132Znancy and daisyhttp://mycorgi.com/profile/nancyanddaisy

Hi all,<br />
<br />
For those of you who work with dogs in the capacity of training them or working in dog daycares or maybe even a dog boutique or bakery - how did you get started? The more I'm around my dog and other dogs - the more I feel like I'd like to work with dogs full time. Any advice for a newcomer?<br />
<br />
Thanks!

Hi,<br />
<br />
I'm just starting obedience training and my little gal Molly is doing awesome with the dumbbell, my only concern is that it might be just slightly to small for her but it was all my trainer had for us to use. I'm sure there is someone on this list that does obedience training and I wanted to find out what size dumbbell is being used.<br />
<br />
Thanks for all the help,<br />

Does anyone worry about their dogs being taken while out with them or having them in the workplace? There have been incidents in SC where people's pets have been stolen from the workplace (usually a retail environment) or from their homes. With the corgi's being so outgoing and friendly, I worry about them being taken. All of my corgis are microchipped and tattoo'd. I have considered posting a sign that all dogs on premises are tattoo'd and microchipped but my husband thinks I'm just paranoid.…

Cosmo has some prior office experience, from his days as an "only dog," but Cody is a neophyte. An enthusiastic neophyte, however, he spent at least an hour after arrival with his nose to the floor, the filing cabinets, the potted plants, the desks......just taking in the new "professional" experience!<br />
<br />
But both of the boys have settled right down, at my feet, striking classic corgi sleeping poses - "side sleeper" and "four paws to the air."<br />
<br />
I, however, have committed the gravest error of all. For some unknown reason, I chose to wear navy wool trousers today. I am also convinced that they have been treated with some sort of "canine fur attractant" because my trousers, from the knee down, have now acquired a fuzzy reddish coating! Unfortunately, the local Lowes was out of "pet hair rollers." ;-) Just A Dogtag:mycorgi.com,2008-11-23:1150197:Topic:2405782008-11-23T21:26:18.601Znancy and daisyhttp://mycorgi.com/profile/nancyanddaisy
