Thanks for inviting me and Patrick. Me is Ruth Houser, a CPA who does financial counselting, partnering with Financial Advisors and Human Resource professionals so their projects include the financial perspectives. At one time I was the CFO of the Col Potter Cairn Rescue Network back in 2003 and have done fostering, home inspections, mentoring, match making--the go to person. My inspiration was my heart dog Silky, a Cairn-Corgi mix whose owner had passed away and she landed in Great Pyrenees Rescue. She would herd those Pyrs all over the backyard!

> At the time of her passing, I had been introduced to NADAC and it just so happened, through a friend that Sharon Nelson had a Corgi up for adoption. Patrick traveled from OK to FL with some of the NADAC judges so he has the inside track.

Here is my beautiful sable Corgi, Patrick! The spot on the top of his head is what I call his easy button. We have been sidetracked by a few things but hope to get back into agiliy this summer.

> I think he was bred by breeder as his confirmation and movement are great. No dew claws but somebody put him into rescue where he was for 3 years until I adopted him. I don't know how he didn't get adopted but I am so grateful! He will be 5 next month.

I have a question for Wendt Worth...What is DM? You mention a donation drive for studying the disease. Is it prevalent in Corgis?

Hi everyone, I have two tri color pembrokes Rascal and Molly. Rascal will be three this year and Molly is around 15 weeks old. I am not actually in the profession yet; I plan on becoming a breeder in a few years once I am I ready. But I just wanted to introduce myself!

EVERYONE!!!! It's great to meet you all and for some of you I've known its about time you got your hide here!! LOL So many interesting lives you all have. Looking forward to learning more about each of you and hope we can help one another out when needed. Wanted to mention that the Daily Corgi is running a donation drive for the research of DM..if you can please donate for further studying of this disease. Thank you!

Hello everyone, I am a civil engineer and have a professional engineering license in the state of Alaska and working to obtain one in the state of Ohio. I am also a soccer referee in my spare time and I referee professional soccer matches in the southern Ohio area. I am married and we have 2 Pembrokes, a red and white male and a tricolor female. Our red and white male, Morris, is 6 years old and our tricolor female, Maisy, is 3 months old. My wife works for Ohio State and maintains an online magazine that has won numerous awards. I would love to introduce a bring-your-dog-to-work day at my office and I am going to work towards getting one =)

Hi I am Brenda and I am in the Banking {Imaging specialist} and have been for 20 years now-- I have 2 boys a fluffy Chevy he is 3 and my newest boy a rescue we got On Dec 29,2010 he is my boy and then we have Toby he is 2- my boys are 10 months apart{Toby is my daughter's boy}.. We had our first corgi Riley for 10 years and then he got real sick last May and we lost him..Then we got Toby he was from a very  abusive home- you would not know it now he is the happiest little guy - then we got Chevy he was tossed from home to home in just a few short months-- then I finally got him- actually tried to get him twice before and then he found me--kind of a strange story..But we have our boys and they are the best of buds and we love them so much.. My daughter is a mangaer for a CVS pharmacy store- guess we are both professionals during the day then we come home to our boys and we also have 3 cats {girls] that are rescues as well..

My name is Jane and I guess I fit into this group in several different ways. I am a Developmental Programmer for physically and mentally challenged people and am lucky to be able to bring my dogs to work with me. We recenly had a woman with MS move in and Sage visits her 1-2 times a week...this makes the woman's day:). Sage and I start classes again in March so I hope she can get her CGC and Therapy certificates then:) Sometimes my other Corgis join me.

My husband and I just started a home for the Mentally Ill and my dogs go there every day. Zip...the obese Corgi that moves here in June will be living with there.. I do occasionally have a litter of pups and also have a Corgi Rescue. So my Corgis are pretty much involved in my life and the lives of others. They wait by the door in the morning to see who's going "along". Life can't get much better when you get to bring your dogs to work with you:)

@ryuustar - Welcome aboard, although i'm not the Wendy that created this site. I am also a trained, though retired psychotherapist, an MSW, CSW. Our newest family member, Ricky/Rafa, has been a full-time challenge. He's humbling! We just had our second session with a behavioral dog trainer!

Thanks Wendy for the invite. I am a "Professional" by way of being a Psychotherapist, licensed in Marriage and FAmily as well as a Professional Counselor.  The titles are not necessarily the labels that reflect the career.  I do no Marriage Counseling, but lots of individaul and family therapy with kids.  I am taking some CEUs in Animal Therapy. I would love to use my corgi in therapy with kids, but it's a process.  Thanks again for the invite.
