The park is in Berrien Springs and is called Shamrock RV Park. We are on the new pull through area. Just a 2 minute walk to the St Joseph River. The park is so nice we will probably come back next year for a couple of weeks. Only small issue is no laundry on site, but thereares 2 in town just a quick drive. Been raining yesterday and today, should be nice tomorrow for reunion.
I didn't have time for a pedicure before we left so had a friend of Roger's make me an appt with a local person. We walked in and there was a picture of her corgi. Of course we shared corgi stories and told her about mycorgi.
Oh bummer! Vet bills are so bad... What park are you at? It is great that Tenby can provide entertainment for his brother.
This afternoon we spent 2 hours at the vet with our wild child. His auto immune problem went crazy and within 24 hours he had scratched and chewed under his back leg and scratched under his ear. He is now on antibiotics, steroids and we have to clean the wounds with special stuff twice a day. Of course the vet visit cost $10 less than a whole week at theRV park. We told Chepstow he couldn't laugh at his brother. But I know he is laughing inside.

I guess we all have 2 corgis and love to travel. I am from CA (my first 45 years) We are heading to Michigan in the morning for 10 days. It will take us 2 full days to get there. Spending the night somewhere in Ohio. Roger managed to work his high school class reunion and a family reunion in on this trip. Retirement is great, we were very fortunate to be able to retire early (55) and have enjoyed every minute. The boys have been watching us load up all day (at least me.....Roger had to play some golf). Chepstow hates the drive and loves the RV parks. Tenby loves the drive and prefers to stay in the RV.
Retirement is great but so far my husband doesn't want to. He is a little younger than me but I wish we could go out for more than a couple weeks at a time.
Comment by Keri&Merlin(Judy&Alan's Pups) on August 2, 2012 at 2:11pm Hi from a fellow RV family :).Can't believe I hadn't found this site until today.Hey Bev L and the rest of this travelling group. Thanks to Roger/Laurie for creating it.We've posted alot of Our favorite dog RV parks in Ca and Nv on Our page, but hope to be doing alot more states very soon.Hubby retires in 6 more working days!!!See You All on here soon :).
As long as Sparty is bossy and eating sounds like he is doing well. Tenby is on daily pain meds, don't know what we would do without Pill Pockets.
I forgot to tell you, everytime we came back to the RV on our last trip,Tenby was laying on the dining table looking out the window. It is so easy for him to jump on the bench not sure how we are going to change this behavior. Of course that was better than him sitting in the kitchen sink looking out that window. That boy has a wild and free spirit, Chepstow would never even think doing that.
Yes I am sorry that you are going to be so far south and we are north because it would be fun to meet. We will have to try to plan it ahead of time. We might go to South Haven in August? Sparty is doing Ok but his front leg has cancer and back leg a torn CL and he is on pain meds so we know what we are in for. So far he still bosses the doberman around and enjoys his meals so we are just taking it day by day.
