I live in Santa Ana/Tustin, and am trying to find a good local vet who has experience with Corgis. My vet is okay, but she just doesn't have a lot of experience with Corgis in general, and I'm concerned about some of the advice and medical care I've gotten from her in regards to my pup. For example, looking at an X-ray of the lower half of my dog, she seemed to think that there was something completely off about her knees; different vet pointed out that it was normal for Corgi bone…

My vet is okay, but she just doesn't have a lot of experience with Corgis in general, and I'm concerned about some of the advice and medical care I've gotten from her in regards to my pup. For example, looking at an X-ray of the lower half of my dog, she seemed to think that there was something completely off about her knees; different vet pointed out that it was normal for Corgi bone structure. We're also dealing with a potential cruciate tear right now, and she told us to go ahead and let the dog run free, go to dog park, etc. Orthopedic specialist told us to severely limit her activities. So yeah; getting a lot of conflicting advice, etc., from her, and I think it's time to move on.

hello all!

helix has finally turned 4 months old and emi is currently 8 months. we were going to wait for helix to be old enough so we could have them spay/neutered at the same time. im currently a student at UCR, and cant afford normal cost surgeries at vet offices (like $300+), and i was wondering if any one could recommend a low cost spay/neuter clinic that they had a good experience with! i've had friends who had their dogs neutered at different humane societies or clinics and…

Hey all! Are there any other owners out there living in the Ventura County or Santa Barbara area? :) Seems like Jax gets so much attention because not many people have seen a corgi around town, so it might be nice to meet others and have him play with dogs his size!

I don't know since they're having one out in San Diego which is a bit of a drive I thought maybe we should throw something together! where all the corgi's come dressed in their Halloween Costumes and what not I don't know just an idea.

Hi all!

We just picked up a 2 year old corgi today and were wondering if anyone had any good referrals for vets in the upper LA area. The current vet that we go to for our cats is exclusive to the feline population. Any suggestions you all have would be great!

Thanks!
