mine looked very similar as a pup, all white on his face is gone, I don't see any merle on him thouhg, or do you just meana dusty tinge to his white?
It's not dusty its gray where it should be black but not spotted or anything. It a color fault, she can't be used for breeding but that doesn't matter to me she is my bumble bee!!!

snooty show breeder and their colour faults. All silliness imo.

mine had a bit like that if you look at his puppy photos, he lost all but the snout tip too, his colours will change as he grows probably anyway. I can't remember what tone Loki had though, maybe if you look through my page you will see something familiar looking.
Maybe the gray fur is like the under coat...it is rather soft and fuzzy....
Hey, I was considering Loki as a name for Pengu too but my fiance said that he liked Pengu so much that when people asked what her name was he was going to say Pengu whether I named her that or not!
aah yes, his entire undercoat is grey on loki. Looks neat when it gets mussed, hopefully the furminator I bought will help remove a lot of it.

Yours still has his puppy fur too, too cute.
Let me know if you like the furminator... I was thinking about getting one too. But 20 bucks for a comb?!!! Maybe it is a magic comb...
Georgeous :-) You never know what will happen to colour as they mature ... I think it would be wonderful if it stayed grey ... I hope you post an update in a year or so !
Bertie Wooster had a very grey head when he first came home --

But as he grew up, it got all red

Your puppy is adorable! I have the furminator and I love it for my guys, but I didn't use it on my little Ethel until just recently, when she really started to blow her coat (she's 18 months now). When she was under a year, her coat was slim and she didn't shed quite so much. But I love it, when they are really shedding hard, the furminator is worth every penny, really gets those tufts of fur out.

For completeness, here's Ethel recently (and Bertie, too!)

Wow what a great before and after picture of Bertie! Thanks! ;)
Also Ethel is cutie too!
My beagle Galoot changed like that too started out with black face and ended up brown and white one!
Hey for the furminator review too!
