His tail is up about 90 % of the time.... I made him stand here after his nap...guess his tali wasn't awake yet : )

He certainly does. It looks like Fin does have his tail down sometimes. Chester's tail is up 98% of the time. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I ironed it! (not really)

My boy has a curly tail too. His dad was a very famous show Corgi (Carbon) but I couldn't show him because of the tail. I still love him to death though

. See photo.

Thanks Joanna, I thought it was a bit odd (but cute) hee hee good thing he's not a show dog, I'll pay more attention now when I see Cardi's : )

Dawn, it's a very common fault in Cardigans but it is a fault. They're supposed to have a tail that comes off the body in a flowing curve, streams out level with the back when they move, and may be lifted but never over the back. It is VERY VERY common to have a tail that curls over, but we're supposed to be breeding away from it.

I had a Cardigan question for you Cardi owners.... Finbar's tail curls over his back when we walk, almost like a husky. Not just in the beginning, but even after a couple miles (?) is that how they are supposed to be ? or hanging down ?

Welcome Lisa, any questions you might have throw them out. Blues are so cool and you get a lot more questions about them.
