Sage and I are one test away from having her become a therapy dog. We have passed 2 and need a third which we can hopefully do this month. Then we will be part of Therapy Dog Inc. and Puppy Luv Therapy Dog groups. Finally after all these classes and driving we will have met one of our 2 goals!

Hi everyone!  My youngest Corgi "Jake" is a registered Therapy dog through the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program in London, Ontario Canada.  We visit a local nursing home every Wednesday morning and a local detention centre for boys age 12-17 every other Saturday.  We also visit the University of Western Ontario at exam time to de-stress the students.  We also take part in many community events to promote and bring public awareness to our program.  I hope to have my 5 yr. old tri girl "Sally" tested in the fall.  She would make an excellent Therapy dog for children.

Hi everyone...we are still a ways from being a therapy dog but Sage and I are working on obediance rally and hope to go on to therapy corgi. Due to the distance of driving it will take a bit but I have already taoked with the AKC club nearest us and they do offer this...I am so happy!

Crystal the blue merle cardi is a therapy dog with Furry Friends Pet Assisted Therapy Services (www.furryfriends.org). She visits with the elderly along with her cat 'buddy', Mokey, who is also a therapy pet (although he of course is a therapy cat). Crystal is still pretty new at it, only qualified a couple of months ago, but so far she loves it! (I think it helps that she sees Mokey the cat do it, as he's been doing this for just under 3 years now...)

Our therapy girl, Ruby, is now a service dog in Idaho. She is perfect at it & is happy to have a job again. It broke our heart to have to re-home her, but my friends have her. She loves her new girl.

I have a 3 yr old male Corgi who is a therapy dog. We work in Chicago with a large therapy orgainization and my team visits an adolescent pysch ward. I have been in therapy dog work for 12 years and my Corgi is my best worker yet! I just got a new Corgi puppy and I hope to have her trained in a year to work also.

Eek! One should never post when one is tired! Charm is the red! LOL, Razzle is the tri in the profile photo!

Charm is the tri color on the profile photo. We have a tri that we are training to do therapy, but she's not in the profile photo. Her name is Tag.

Is Charm the tri or the red? We have the same combination of corgis. Our red is the therapy dog. Our tri should be an agility dog but we have found no place to get him trained.
