    the Bill Archer Dog Park looks really nice just its kinda far out of the way if your coming from Baytown, But im crazy for corgi's and I would drive pretty far I think for a meet up lol.

    Has anyone been to Southdown Dog Park in Pearland? In the pictures I have seen, it appears to have agility equipment in the small dog area.

    Southdown has a perpetual water leak that leaves a puddle of filthy water there constantly.
    Independence pearland park also has small dog and agility equip.

    I wish I could go but Guinness is way too picky about who he likes and doesn't. He'd love to get with the ladies but I can't expect everyone to tiptoe around him :/

    I told him he misses out! He's absolutely great with all peoples tho...

    I can't come either. Work that morning! Oh well.
    Maybe we should organize an on-leash outing to, say, a farmer's market, or to the dog show coming up? Reliant Dog Show!
    Then everyone can come, even pups that need to be on a leash, and we can all chat and have people time. ;)
    I went to the show last year and it was the bomb. They had the conformation rings going, and tons of vendors and rescues and specialty food vendors, it was awesome.

    You can. It needs to be on a leash. You can also have them fitted for harnesses and halters there, and many of the vendors custom cut collars and kerchiefs if you have your dog there when you buy them.

    I wouldnt take my dogs to that kinda thing either. Mario would spend the time barking his head off, and Peach would be to scared. it does seem very neat though.

    Good point. Penny is the barking type and Jet is too young. The dog show web site says they need to be 6 months old. Oh well! We'll have fun shopping and taking pictures anyway!

    We can't go tomorrow b/c I work Saturday's until August. We would love to meet up sometime though! I want to go to the dog show but Thursday is the only day that will work for me next weekend, so I might just go alone to do some shopping :)

    Turns out we couldn't make the meet up. I've been ill for four days, and thought I'd be up to it. :( The dog show does sound great! I was wondering if we could bring our dogs. I'm sure Jack would love to meet some Corgi cousins!

    Hey everyone! We really enjoyed meeting all of your corgis and missed those of you who couldn't make it this time. We'll meet up again, for sure! My dogs are on the couch and down for the count!     I was really glad to meet everyone (dogs and people ) at the park today! My husband took a few pictures too, although they didn't turn out as well as the Richardson's. I will let you know when they are posted.

    We bought one, but both dogs were afraid of the noise and wouldn't let us near them with it, so we never found out how well it worked. :/

    I tried a regular dremel after my groomer (a family friend) tried one on DiDi while she was at her kennel over a weekend and said Didi had no problem with it. Surprise! She really didn't mind it!

    Awh! Thats what I get for having class and a trip out of town, Izzie misses a corgi meetup! The pictures looked absolutely adorable.

    I am not sure about taking Izzie to the dog show, but if I can finish up enough work I hope to drag the fiance there with me! Hope to see some of y'all there.

    It sounds like a regular dremel, from what I remember. It wasn't a teribble noise.

    What day are people planning to head out to the Dog Show? Perhaps we could all meet there?
