My corgi is Tippy, an 13 year old pembroke who has been with me since the passing of my first best friend Sparky (another pem, who suffered back problems but never failed to be loving). Tippy and I don't get to see each other much any more because of school; but when we do, we take walks, sit on the couch, or lay in bed napping. She is, according to the vet, in great condition for her age and loves jumping around, though jumping off the couch is hard on her mild arthritis. She does have a bit of a problem digging through garbage people throw out their window, but I think she's learned that old taco containers = vomiting. Tippy loves snow and surf. Always one for adventure, she often walks next door to the nursing home (without our knowledge) to take care of the residents and to get the scraps since they love her so much (though we do not approve at all). She hates thunderstorms but can be soothed by my guitar playing and singing. We feed our pem only the best all natural, corn and wheat free food.
Hi Laurel. Glad to have you with us! I know you miss your Tippy something awful. It's hard on us and our beloved corgis when we have to be apart. I'm sure Tippy cherishes the time you two have together!
Welcome Laurel! My wife can relate to how you are feeling, she is currently in Toronto and misses our corgis too, it's tough to be away from your loved ones :(
There is so much to see outside of the US, there's a Chinese proverbs "Reading a thousand books is not the same as traveling a thousand miles." I hope that you'll get to travel to paris one day, you'll love it there :)
