Hi K and Charlie, from Chris and Charlie! My first Corgi too. They are a bundle of fun aren't they?

You might want to check into taping your Charlie's ears to get them to stand up. (People usually tape floppy ears at 14 weeks.)

    Welcome to the forums! : - )

    Hi k,

This site shows instructions and a photo of ear taping just using masking tape: http://my.voyager.net/~farrago/Articles/Ears/EarTape.html

Some people prefer cloth tape, and some use mole skin (that does not have adhesive glue) underneath duct tape.

Also, you can find a couple threads on this forum by searching "ear taping". Good luck!

Our breeder actually did the ear-taping, and she used styrofoam cups from Sonic and masking tape. She traced the shape of our pup's ears on the styrofoam, cut it, then taped the trimmed styrofoam to the front side of the ear to help the cartilage shape. After several days or so, we took 'em off to let the skin breathe and checked the ears (if they stood by themselves). If they needed more time, we taped 'em back up. Maybe you can find something online with better instructions and more pictures? Good luck!
