I am a new dog owner and I am OBSESSED with corgis. I love them, I think they are one of the best dog breeds.
About My Corgi(s):
Franklin is my first pet, and I am doing the best I can to give him a long, loving, fun-filled life. I am training him to be obedient, well behaved, and of course loving and cuddly.
Thank so much. I had a dream Riley was running in the clouds and I was up there holding my hands out to him and he jumped in my arms and kissed me. It was beautiful but it doesnt stop the pain..I'm sure with time I will heal.
Hi Franklin's Mommy! i haven't been on the site lately, busy with the Marching Band. My daughter is a sophmore flute. When did you graduate? We will be around Thanksgiving. Let me know when you are back in town, we'd love to meet Franklin!
What helped us potty train, was anytime he tinkled in the house we put a newpaper over it and let it soak up the smell and sat him near it and said no we go outside..well eventually he peed on the newspapers and then we moved the papers close to the door. Pretty soon when he walked towards the door we ran and opened it and let him out and that was how we did it. So hopefully that can help you a bit. To teach tricks all I can say is don't give up and keep trying they are smart dogs!
Hi I saw you were from Indiana. I grew up in Indiana and even lived in Caramel for a summer. My family is still over that way, I am now in Illinois. Hope all is going well for Franklin. Isn't potty training fun???? I just got my 6 month old corgi to the point where i completely trusted him not to potty inside.... and then I went and got another puppy!!! CRAZY! The joy of getting up several times during the night, all the cleaning, etc. :O)
