About Me:
My name is Kristi and I am 28 years old. My husband and I live on my family's horse farm in Ohio. We have 3 Paint horses and a Spotted Draft. We have a petting zoo of animals on our farm. In addition to my Corgi, we have 2 Labs and a German Shepard mix.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Gracie will be a year old on January 28th. I got her the week before my wedding from my horse trainer. He had a litter of pups and Gracie was his favorite but he hadn't sold her yet. I played with her a couple times that week and fell in love. I honestly had no intention of getting another dog although I had wanted a Corgi. Needless to say, after pleading with my husband, she made the trek home with my best friend Lyns and I. My husband will never admit it but he loves her just as much as I do. =)
Gracie is fitting into her barn routine very well and has even started herding our miniature horses. She is very focused and loves her job. She gets so excited when she jumps in the truck to go to "work"!
I have:
Pembroke

    Thank you very much. They live in a development off of RT 18 by I 71...across from the dealership over there. Its my husbands aunt and uncle which we tend to go out that way quite a bit. We live in Fairview Park near N.Olmsted. Where did you get your Corgi from? Was she from out of state?

    I notice you have Paint horses too. So did I. I had 6 of them but sold them off one by one. Just didn't have the time for them. Let my favorite one go just about 5 months ago. Was the hardest thing to do. She went to a fabulous family in Illinois. I was showing the APHA circuit .. Western Pleasure and Yearling Longe Line. Whose your trainer?

    They are irresistible! My horse trainer friend I hung with was raising them too and was always trying to get me to buy one. LOL I kept saying NO NO. I had Akitas at the time. Well a few years down the road I wanted to find a dog for my daughter and he was going thru a divorce and wanted me to have one of his favorite females so I took her. That pretty much sums up where it went from there. Instantly felt devoured by the breed and my addiction just grew.

    I was a big bully breed fan and have had all kinds of dogs but the Corgi surpasses them all. I have 2 friends that raised Labs and now are into breeding Corgis. The one said she always thought the Lab was smart but they don't compare to the Corgis. LOL I had a few Labs and the one was great. Good Night. Great talking to you and look forward to more conversations.
