Corgi obsessed! I'm an RN in an ICU. I work nights. My name is Kim. I love to take my babies to our park which is the Alabama Shakespeare Festival (ASF). It's only half a mile from our front door. I've seen many plays there as well. I also love to read mystery, fantasy, sci fi, historical fiction and other hard to classify novels.Love movies as well.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
They Love, Love, Love swimming, running, and barking that can turn into a high pitched howl (corgi sing I call it). Honey has her own little wookie howl. Honey's whole name is (Honeybunny's a glamor girl). My male is Barron and besides the barking at every chance he can get he loves to try to put his mouth in mine. How bizarre is that? I think he'd put his whole head in my mouth if I'd let him. It's like he can never get close enough to me. I guess that's a needy boy thing.
I'll be adding some photos of them in the pool and in their life vest next. I wasn't able to add them just now cause they're on another computer. Hope everybody enjoyed these though!
Thank you very much. They're much cuter in person. Just too precious for words. I love to just catch them sleeping and all I have to do is say one word and they pop up all happy to see me. Can't get enough of them.
LOL..yeah but its great. Get down to their level and they are all over you. Your face ends up smelling like puppy breath but they are just too cute to ignore. I'm thoroughly addicted.
Yeah I love red and white as well! The other day I went to a dog agility competition though, and I saw a tri-colored corgi that was really beautiful and nice. So now I like them both! Haha well it's true, it seems that every corgi I meet I love and find adorable.
Hey! I am sorry that I havent replied to the post you left me, but yes, in Puerto Rico, the Corgi is very rare, right now I see more now and then, the ones who live in San Juan, who has money,orders Corgis in USA, there are not many purebred pets there....my best friend's dad saw one at the airport and was so amazed by the breed...I think he wants one now:)
Hey Littles, I grew up in Montgomery, in the Dalraida section. I have a brother that lives in the Johnstown area, but he has cats, cats, and more cats. I still come up to the Coliseum for horse activities. Thanks for tagging me so lets be friends. We are looking for a registered sable and white female to be a mate to our registered tri-male, "Cowboy". We have to get our new breeding pen finished first, because we want to be very controlled in the breeding times.
Greetings! It's wonderful to know that there are corgi folks pretty darn close! Do you participate in any type of agility activities with you corgis? Do you know of others in the area that do?
awe. I haven't found anyone too close to us, and honestly most of the people here don't even know what breed Ein is. Very disappointing lol. I'd like to have Ein meet another corgi soon. :)
I'll have to do that. I also just found out that the obedience class we're getting into has a Corgi in it. It's so weird, I've never been so into a breed of dog.
Hey Kim, right now I live in Orlando,Fl. going to UCF to become a Science teacher. I visit to Comerio once in a while to see my family, so basically I live there too lol. You are lucky you got to see the bioluminesce fish in La Parguera, I never been there before. You should go back next time to see Culebra which is a beautiful small island by the east coast. It is very secluded and you only pay less than 5 dollars to get there on a boat!Also, try to go to the rainforest Yunque if you havent...the only tropical rain forest in United States :)
Hello. Wanted to give our regards -- I live in CT, but my little Ethel is from Birmingham, AL (Tresaith Corgis, Janet Richardson was her breeder). It was just a year ago this month that I flew down to pick her up. It was so nice to be in the mild weather in the middle of winter. Anyway, on behalf of Ethel Barrymore, hello to fellow AL pups! (oh, oh, just saw the pic of them swimming in the pool, Ethel will be damanding one soon, she LOVES to swim.)
Ah, corgis in snow -- there is nothing cuter than watching a bunny butt do the "dolphin swim" through deep snow. Ethel, however, has even plunged into rivers coated in ice! She is fearless, and apparently doesn't give a hoot about temperature, either. I'll have to get a photo of that -- she looks like a little submarine with her head as a periscope.
My other Pem, Bertie Wooster, will ONLY wade. When we first moved up here to CT, he jumped into the river over his head, and did a barrel roll, feet in the air and head under. He rolled right back up, but that was it for him -- he will only go in water where he can see his feet on the bottom!
