    Believe it or not, we did not get to name any of our three dogs or one of the cats! Chester and Bruce (and one cat, Hamilton) were rescues and knew their names well. Sidney we got from a breeder and that was the name he was given but it seemed to suit him. We only got to name our cat Pippin, after one of the Hobbits in Lord of the Rings.
