    We had our male for about two months before we were already looking for another one! They usually come in twos :) Ours are about four months apart and they are great company for each other. As you can see they tend to be the best of friends. I would suggest doing it sooner or later just to get the potty training out of the way. Once that is done having two isn't much different than having one.
