Hey, we met you guys at the dog park last night. Finnigan was the one Turbo wouldn't leave alone. :) That's what happens when you get two unneutered males together. Do you plan on getting Turbo neutered? It will eliminate a lot of issues such as cancer risks, dominence etc. We will be neutering Finn in two months. We would do it now but the vet wants to wait until he is at least 8 months old.
if you go on the AZ corgi page, there is a link for meet up #3. we are talking about dates there. so, throw in a suggestion and we will try to settle a date soon. unfortunatley- im pretty sure it will be after the 7th though. tell joe not to worry- the 2 (well, 4...) of us will be there. everyone is super nice and its a good time. but of course, if joe's mom and her corgi mix want to join- thats awesome as well.
Ha ha, I know how frustrating it can be trying to battle your dog for dominance. Finn tests us all the time. At home he wants to be boss but when we're out and he meets other dogs he's more than happy to take a submissive roll as you saw at the dog park. We wouldn't want puppies either. Somewhere down the road we plan on getting a girl Corgi but not for breeding, we'll leave that to the pros. I know neutering can be costly, especially for a dog like Finn. He only has one descended testicle so to neuter him the have to go into his abdomen and find the other one. Not fun!
We got Finnigan from a breeder in New Mexico. There aren't many Cardigan breeders around here, especially ones that breed for blue merles. He was worth the drive though. :)

How funny, Sid loves to ignore us too!
