About Me:
I'm a full time nurse at a local nuring home and a part time animal rescuer/advocate. I'm looking to go back to school in the next year to become a RN. We just recently moved to Lima from Wapak, and even though we're in the city, we have a nice big fenced in yard so my dog has plenty of room to run. I'm on the lookout to add a Pembroke to my family again after a year. Last February, I had to make to decision to have my 3 year old Pembroke euthanized due to status epilepticus. Despite the vet's best efforts he was unable to permanently get Phineas out of the seizure. Just long enough for him to look at me and lick my hand before going into another one. Now that it has been a year and I have a more suitable yard, I am looking to add a red head to the family again. I'm more interested in adopting but a reputable breeder would be ok. I just want another cute corgi butt in my life again!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Phineas was the most loyal and devoted dog I have ever owned. Though he was only with me 3 short years, he touched my heart and I will never forget him. Phineas always knew when I having a panic attack and would cuddle with me until I felt better. When I was agoraphobic, he made sure I went outside. Even when he was feeling lousy after a seizure, he would still make sure I was ok. He was still a handful at times, his favorite game was tag. Even if no one wanted to play but him. If he had the chance out the door he'd go and a merry chase would follow, at least on his part! After a year, I'm ready to have another corgi in my life though none could ever replace Phineas!
I have:
No corgi

    Hi Sarah! I'm so sorry you lost Phineas so soon. I think if you post in the discussion section you may get some good responses to your question. Good luck!

    We have a wonderful Corgi Rescue here in Ohio and I also know a lot of wonderful breeders who have adolescent and adult dogs they are trying to place. You should join the Toledo Area Corgi group, and speak to the members there to see if they know of anyone who may have a dog to fit your needs. Sorry to hear you lost your baby so soon; Corgis find a way to snuggle into your heart.
