Hi Heather, Nice to meet you too! Gus actually is not uncomfortable now... he was very sore and sickly before, but now that has been properly diagnosed and on the correct meds, he is doing great and is a very happy boy!

Brody is sooo cute! I am sure that he will bring you many years of joy like your sweet Clancy did..

    Hi Heather,
I am so sorry for your loss. While reading this I broke down again. Yes it will get better, but it's a very slow road. The part that hurt the worst for me was coming home to an empty house after work. We still have our beloved Kitty Calypso, but it's just not the same. Sometime I swear I can still see or hear Tiki around here. Just after Tiki's passing a friend emailed me that lost her beloved Tedi in early December 2008. We both ponder getting another corgi. She just received her new corgi Sami, about two weeks ago, from Wendt Worth corgis. Here's what she put in an email to me, nine days after we lost Tiki. She hit the nail on the head.....

"Of course there is no way you can ever replace Tiki anymore then we can replace Tedi. It is not Tiki you are replacing, you are wanting to love, be loved, take care of, be taken care of as only a corgi can do."

Everytime I read this, It still brings tears to my eye.

It will take time, but your heart will start to heal. I never thought it would get easier, but it does. Just never forgot all the happy memories you had with Clancy. An just think...Tiki now has a new friend in heaven by the name of Clancy.
