    Guiltyy as charged! ;-) Buddy found me when I was on duty at our little PD. Strays are turned in to the PD where I work as a part time officer. We keep them for 48 hours and if they aren't claimed, we turn them over to the county shelter. They keep them for a week before euthanizing them. Would Buddy have been adopted? Probably, but I didn't want to take the chance. All of our "four legged children with permanent fur coats" as my wife calls them are rescues.
