    Welcome NIcole and Phrenchie! I also adopted an older dog, Bruce. He was around 10 when we rescued him. He's still a little grumpy but can be very happy when we go for a walk or say "who wants a cookie?", or give out belly rubs. I think he's very grateful to be in a home and with us!
