About My Corgi(s):
Tri-color male, will be 3 years old in 1 month. He is hilarious and makes me laugh every single day. His given name is Giovanni, but we call him Gio for short. The story behind his name is funny. When I went to pick out my Corgi there was a litter of 5, all boys. Most of the puppies were running around, playing in the snow, but I saw 1 puppy standing alone in the corner of the yard, completely by himself and enjoying it. Right away I thought of the movie "The Other Sister", don't know why but I did. It may have been because the guy in the movie was happy being alone, and had a good time regarless. My favorite actor is in that movie, Giovanni Rabisi, so I named him Giovanni. :) He is the runt of the litter, and barely made it, his siter, the only girl, died, and he would have as well but the breeder took extra good care of him. I am SO glad she did because I love him to death!! We have had some tough times, he torn his ACL when he was 2, and it was one of the most trying times of my life (he is my child). But luckily he came out of it better than ever. I can't wait to get home every day to play with him and cuddle on the couch. He is amazing and can always turn my frown upside down. :)
Gio looks so much like our neighbor, Monty. I've come to realize that the tri pattern is mostly constant and the variability is in the white boots and the white around face and collar. Gio and Monty have very little white; makes them look like dwarfed German Shepherds (which may be close to what they really are). Great looking corgi.
