I am retired from both state service and a local university and now work for Habitat for Humanity in my local town. We have a 10 year old Jack Russell and wanted a Corgi for our 16 yr old daughter. Didn't realize the two breeds might not get along!

We have a beautiful 7 month old Corgi we bought for our 16 yr old daughter. Beautiful dog but having trouble with behaviors such as being very aggressive when eating and biting. My husband has been bitten 3 times and me once. I was just petting her and she reached back and bit my index finger. Would like to try and correct these behaviors.

    OH MY...what a combination. A JRT and a corgi. How long have you had your 7 mo. old corgi? When you write about biting is it aggressive? draws blood...or close? or does it seem like normal puppy teething on every object in sight?
