Well for one I was actually never really an animal person and was scared of dogs for personal reasons. My girlfriend (who is a pet photographer so I don't think I really had a choice, ha!) really got me into dogs, more specifically, Corgi's. We moved in together recently and knew she wanted one so within a few months I am now the owner of TWO Corgi mixes :D.
Seren is a 1 yr old Corgi mix, we believe she's a Cardigan but don't know what else. Through some good people and good luck I found her through a friends girlfriend who is a vet. She knew of a Corgi in South Carolina that was scheduled to be put down soon so sprung into action and through a snowstorm Seren made her way to us at midnight and not one regret. She seems to have been abused but is coming out of it and is very loving and awesome to have around.
Starfox is a 5 month old Corgi/Sheltie mix. We weren't planning on getting another dog but when we saw him up for adoption we just had to get him. He's full of personality, energy, and is very smart. Him and Seren get along great so this worked out well and glad to have saved 2 pups.
Hello and welcome! My you did a great deed for 2 dogs and also seem to have made a wonderful family in the process. Good luck to all of you and hope to see some photos of Seren and Starfox!
Welcome Jose-Omar, Seren and Starfox! I love your profile picture, it is really really good! Your pups look adorable and it is so great that you rescued both of them!
Thanks so much, I dig the pic myself as it truly shows their personality. Seren is goofy, yet proper and Starfox is a showboat and overly confident. He loves the camera and Seren would rather watch him love the camera; she's there for the treats, ha!
