What a sweet pea! He looks like a lover. We are hoping are girls can bond with our new pup, as our old girl Minnie can sometimes be a little cranky. Thanks for the welcome.

  • Carol Powers

I just read your bio and it says your dog is 16 pounds. Is he full grown? My dog was 35+ pounds!
  • Ed and Michelle

Carol, Jackie is full grown. Right now he is at about 18 lbs, but will get no bigger. He comes from small parents. After we lost Lexi(she was a big girl 34lbs) we waited a bit then started looking for another corgi. My wife found a breeder in Nebraska that said she had "mini" corgi's, so we gave her a call and the end result is Jack! He has helped heal our wounds from losing our girl.Although she is gone LeLe will never be forgotten. I hope you too will find a new companion to share your love and affection.
  • Carol Powers

Thanks Ed. Maybe someday, but right now we're nowhere near that point. He was our boy.
All the best to you and little Jackie!

Hi, thanks for the welcome! Jack looks like a real sweetie. It's nice to be part of a community of Corgi owners. :-)
  • Laurie & Entourage

Don't you love tris? I've had 2 reds, & Lucy (aka Brat Puppy) is my first tri. Funny that the AKC judges don't really like them in the shows.
  • Robin Smith

    How old is yours?
  • Robin Smith

    He is so cute!
  • Kimberly Gandler

Thanks!! Your Jack, looks so much like Taupo in some of these pictures.  They have the same sleeping positions and facial expressions.

Thank you so much for the comment! Teddy was a good dog, but not only that, he was a member of our family, and we couldn't ever replace him, but we are looking to get another Corgi soon, just a matter of finding the right one!

  • Ayumi

Hi Ed and Michelle, thank you for your welcome message :)  That picture of Kona is from when she was 9 weeks old.  She's a lot bigger now.  Jack is such a sweet little corgi!  I didn't know there were small corgis.  Kona is probably almost Jack size at 5 months!

  • Cindy Lincoln

Aww..love your pictures!  We have always had big dogs, mostly labs but when we decided to go with a smaller breed, my first choice was a dashund but my husband wanted a corgi.  I gave in and I'm sooo glad I did because they are definately smart and so loveable!   I just noticed on your scrolling pics that you have a dashund and a corgi!  How lucky.  Hmm...I might have to run that past my hubby, lol.

  • Tara Braas
