About Me:
I've had at least 1 Corgi in the house going on 18 years now. I wish I had room for 10 of them!! I have 2 Pembrokes, Riley and Sadie, and a Corgi mix named Tally who is a rescue. I began my love for Corgis about 18 years ago with a Corgi mix rescue named Scooter. He met an untimely end with a speeding car but I had him long enough to learn that Corgis are pretty awesome little dogs. Since then I had Bear for almost 14 years, his sister Missy who only made it to 6, and now Riley and Sadie who are going to be 4 years old in June.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
After losing Bear, I was going to wait awhile, but not having a Corgi in the house just did not feel right. Tally had just lost her best friend of 7 years and I know she missed him. I started looking at internet classified ads of Corgis for sale, and found Riley and Sadie in Iowa. It was certainly worth the 1200 mile drive to Iowa and back to get them! Tally was NOT happy at first, but now they're all best buds, especially Sadie. For some reason, Tally favors her over Riley. Probably a girl thing! Either way, I will always have Corgis in my house. I just love them.

    That may be true, I know he had a sister who looked JUST like him, but I don't know any relatives beyond that, although he is a mixed dog too so....
    he has the corgi looks, but his jack stature/weight. I kinda like it that way, especially since he has the intelligence of both!! although the stubborness of both hehe... I bet Ollie will be just as cute as Rocko when he gets full grown though! =D

    I have been waiting for my daughter to show me how to load photographs from my CD into the computer and then onto My Corgi. Kate's getting ready to graduate from Virginia Tech and I am hopelessly lost with this computer stuff. I do have some marvelous black and white photography (my wonderful, old, single lens camera) from our trip to Hatteras, North Carolina of the three corgis on the beach....

    Dear D: Hope you realize your comment spurred me to get some photos onto the site! I still have a roll of film in the camera from Hatteras which I hope to download soon, too. While I would love photographs of the dogs during herding or agility, but someone else is going to have to take them!! Have a great week.. Nancy Geddes
