About Me:
Both my husband and me are IT professional and live in suburb of Chicago. Our first doggie friend is named Daisy, a yellow lab from next door. She would come over to our house and bark the door to call us out for a play and lay on our porch to wait us back from work. Daisy's Mom (our neighbor) said her heart was broken. :-). but it changed the minute when we got our corgi puppies. the puppies love Daisy but apparently Daisy prefers the full attention from her human friends, instead of puppy jumping all over her.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
We have two corgis, Lorenzo was born in spring of 2007 and d'Lilah was in the winter the same year. they are loving, fun dogs and love to eat. my husband and I was fooled several times the beginning to feed them twice, as they looks totally starving even after they just get a meal!
I have:
Pembroke

    Wow, your dogs look really cool... is it my imagination, or are their legs a little longer than I'm used to seeing on corgis? Esp. the one with the white blaze. This catches my attention because my "fantasy dog" would be a Pem with Cardi ears and just slightly longer legs (like about an inch). When I wish my dogs had longer legs, I usually catch myself just in time.... 'cause I cannot outwalk them as it is.

    I don't know if it's even possible to over-feed a puppy, but I'd expect an overfed puppy to get fat, not tall.
    Although they say the Dutch have surpassed the Zulus as the tallest people in the world, the reasons being nutrition, reduced childhood illness, and central heating.
    Our breeder had a stud dog (Al's daddy??) who I think was 35 lbs -- officially -- 35 lbs being the upper limit of the breed standard, there might have been some understatement there -- and this dog definitely was not fat.
    It's really impossible to say from a picture; I'd just had a feeling that Lorenzo looked tall, sleek and fast.
    I sure like the pic wherein he looks like he's just swallowed a bug...

    Do you ever take your corgis to Whalon Lake dog park (off Royce Rd)? Crumpet loves to play with other dogs there, but we've only seen corgis once.
