About Me:
I am a wife and a mother. I have an amazing two year old boy and a six year old corgi. In June 2008, we rescued a corgi. His name is Jack, the pumpkin king. We have foster dogs that come and go, but Jack has a permanent home with us.
About My Corgi(s):
Jack, the pumpkin king is our six year old rescue corgi. We immediately fell in love when we looked into his one brown/one blue eyes. When we got him he was 47 pounds. He had trouble doing... well, just about everything. He has slimmed down quite a bit and now is running with his other canine friends. We absolutely love this guy and he loves us right back, even though we had to put him on a strict diet. He has a heavy ceramic bowl that he throws to let us know he isn't pleased with the diet (so far only one has broke).

His best pals are Lacey (the corgi) and Ivey (the sheltie). He has a secret crush on Holly (the corgi), he loves to chase balls with her and kiss her face.

Jack has two fears... the vacuum and the dreaded broom. They are his arch enemies and will try to defend anyone who gets to close to them!

He loves the snow and surprisingly the shovel. He tries to direct it... it must be the herding instinct.

He is a strong willed guy, but the biggest sweetheart we have ever met. He loves to cuddle, play with his rope toys and give high fives. We affectionately call him our fat Jack. He is quite big for a corgi. When people see him they usually chuckle (someone called him a bratwurst once), we tell him that he brings joy to so many people, that's why they laugh. He doesn't care, he thinks he's the best looking guy around!

    Bravo to you for being a foster home and adopting Jack. Its a rewarding thing to adopt/rescue a dog. My corgi I found from a breeder but his older brother, George, the basset hound is a rescue. Its a hard thing to see a dog abandoned, hurt and worse. So I truly admire that you bring in fosters and help they find new homes.
    Jack's absolutely adorable too to let you know. The eyes are cool ^_^.
