I am an '08 graduate from Appalachian State University in the beautiful mountains of Boone, NC. I now live in Winston-Salem, NC. After 6 years of dating + 2 years of engagement I finally married my high school sweetheart. We've been married for going on 2 years (YES, that's a total of 10 years!) I am a Print Media Designer for pictureframes.com in High Point, NC and my husband Jarrod is an Account Executive at Sheffield Financial in Clemmons, NC.

We live with our adorable corgi, Emma Lou. She's now 2 1/2, last year we added another addition to our family...Monty. He's our boxer we got on St.Pattie's Day. Plus our 2 cats, Suki and Boog. So it's never a dull day in our house.

We're living life day to day and loving every minute of it.

Her name is Emma. Her AKC name is Duchess Emma Antoinette of Salem. I have ALWAYS wanted a corgi, but just never thought I was able to find one. We first found her online, but then we realized how far away she was and continued looking for breeders close by. But... we kept talking about how adorable she was and that she was exactly what an Emma should look like (we picked her name first) and so we couldn't resist! So that's why we had her flown in from Illinois! Right now she loves chasing our kitties around the house and being spoiled rotten. We couldn't be happier or more in love!

    Aww, Emma is too cute. And she totally looks like an Emma too! Corgis are so much fun. How do your cats like her? My boyfriend wants to add a cat to our family but I think Stanley might be a little too rowdy for that...
