Recent graduate of Natural Sciences, grew up in Alaska but recently moved to California. Love animals and nature, and also being creative with costumes and singing. I'm so glad I decided to bring Libby with me on my move, which wasn't for sure permanent at first. She has been a great comfort during this time of transition just like she always has been in the past. I worry that when she goes I wont find another with her personality, but I'm sure going to stick with Corgis.
I got Libby on the fourth of July as a puppy, her full name is Liberty. When I picked her out of the litter, I thought she was the calm one, but when we went to pick her up, she was a ball of energy. She's 11 years old and I couldn't ask for a better dog. I love how she is a regular dog, just short, not like toy breeds. She's so smart, but can be a little reluctant to follow commands, but I like that part of her personality. She pouts when I get ready to leave and hates being left behind, but loves going anywhere with me. I think she misses the snow in AK, but likes her new dogie friends here in California. She is definitely a people person and will bark at visitors if you're not giving her a proper greeting! A funny story for Corgi lovers is I was fishing with Libby and my Dad, and Libby was wading in the water. She then came out and a man approached my dad laughing. He said he thought she was a regular dog in deep water, and had to look twice when she came out with her short legs!
Yeah, I thought it was neat too. Getting to set this up was the problem. Easier then myspace. Thank God for Cass on that one. Chad thought that it would cool to meet people who have corgis. I see that Libby is doing well and all dressed up for halloween. I am surprised that she was okay with the horns and hat. Sunny hates clothes, so we don't bother to dress her up. Sunny has a jacket but I think she has plenty of fur to keep her warm and she is always pulling it off.
